Bridlington Spa

Bridlington Spa is renowned for its historic theatre, Art Deco ballroom,  panoramic sea views, and as a premier venue for entertainment and events  on the  Yorkshire coast.
Bridlington Spa was originally built in 1896 and has undergone several  rebuilds and refurbishments, most notably between 2006 and 2008 at a cost  of £20.5 million, and further updates in 2016. The venue features a large Art Deco ballroom, an Edwardian theatre with a proscenium arch, and an art  gallery, all offering stunning views over Bridlington’s South Bay. Its long  history includes surviving fires and multiple reconstructions, making it a landmark of both architectural and cultural heritage.

Flamborough Head

Flamborough Head is an 8-mile-long promontory on the North Sea coast of Yorkshire, situated between Filey and Bridlington bays. 

It is composed of chalk cliffs, some reaching up to 400 feet high, carved  by the sea into caves, arches, stacks, and blow-holes, creating one of the most striking coastal landscapes in the UK.

 The chalk here dates back to the Cretaceous period, forming part of the same geological layer as the White Cliffs of Dover.

Bempton Cliffs

Bempton Cliffs, on the spectacular Yorkshire coast, is home to one of the UK's top wildlife spectacles. Around half a million seabirds gather here between March and August to raise a family on the towering chalk cliffs that overlook the North Sea.

The huge white chalk cliffs at Bempton are impressive at any time of year. But visit between April and July, and you'll find them transformed into England’s largest seabird city. Here Puffins, Gannets, Kittiwakes and Guillemots live life on the edge. There are more Gannets acrobatically diving into the deep here than anywhere else on mainland England.
